Tomorrow is my birthday (I’ll have another post with more details about that) but today, I thought I’d start posting. Primarily because I started celebrating about two weeks ago, and the celebration will culminate in a 4-day trip to Boston next weekend (more details about that later… assuming I don’t make an ass out of myself). Early is okay π
Anyway, as I stare down the barrel of this particular birthday, I’m hoping you’ll celebrate with me. Yes, I’m bribing you. If you comment on this post or one of the two I’ll have tomorrow, I’ll enter you in a draw to win a $40 gift certificate from All Romance eBooks. I’ll announce the winner… Monday, I think. So you’ll have all weekend to pop in and comment.
Hi KC! HAPPY (early) BIRTHDAY!!!!! I notice you didn’t state what # you’d be turning on this particular birthday π Me I turned 51 this past May! π You also mention about going to Boston for 4 days. Where are you from? I’m from Cambridge/Marshfield/Quincy and Greenfield MA. I found your name on the GLBT Blog. I’m glad I did your books look great and I can’t wait to get Alien’n’Outlaw and read it. Have a great rest of the week Birthday and enjoy your trip.

Hi Chris – thank you! I will be turning 40, so that why the $40 prize π I’m actually from Toronto but living in Orlando, and I’m meeting my two best friends from Toronto (they are also turning 40 in October). None of us have been to Boston before, so if you’ve got suggestions for places to go or see, lay ’em on me!
Happy Birthday!!! Hope you have a great trip.
Happy Birthday! 40 is nuthin, though. Wait til you get close to the big 50! I’ll be 50 in less than 2 months now, and I am NOT looking forward to it. You’re just a spring chicken! π
Congrats, K.C. ^.^ 40 is a good number π
Happy birthday! Yes, celebrate your birthday for the entire month! Super cool to offer US a gift, thank you!
Happy Birthday, KC.
I wish you a fun-filled day. Age is just a number. What counts is how you feel and how you live your life.
Happy Birthday! Hope it’s everything you want it to be!
Thank you Gigi!
LOL – I’m happy being a spring chicken π
Yep, nice & round, just like me…
Oh yeah, I love the month-long celebration!
How I feel? Oh no, I feel like I’m a hundred! But thanks π
Thank you, Jess!
What a coincidence I am also a 40 as well. Past that a few months back.
Happy B-day to you and may your everyday be fill with sweet hopes and beautiful dreams! Not forgetting a muse to keep your stories up and away ^_*

Happy Birthday. Thank you for thinking of us π Enjoy! I am going to be 46 this year and am finding that a very strage thought. Inside I still feel like 25. The wrinkles in the mirror are a shock almost every time! π Keep up the good work, I really enjoyed Cop Out.

Congrats on the birthday! Don’t let anyone make Over the Hill jokes! It tends to be your jealous friends! π Have a great day tomorrow!

Happy Birthday!!! I love your idea of celebrating over several days instead of just the one. I will also be turning 40 Oct. 7th. I hope you have a great vacation with your friends in Boston, go live it up girl!!!!
HAPPY 40TH Birthday to you!! Hope your trip with your friends to Boston is filled with many wonderful memories for all of you.
Happy Birthday, hope your day is filled with love, laughter, fun and lots of presents.
Thanks, Judi! I wasn’t a big fan of 39 – it always sounded like I was lying (“OH, you’re 39? And how many times have you turned 39 now?”)
And apparently, on my new site… replying to individual comments doesn’t actually, oh, link them in anyway…
So…
Ilona – thank you!
Jbst – thanks, I’m very much looking forward to Boston.
Happy Birthday to you, too, Brandi!
Juliana – goodness, I hadn’t even thought of that. Like Michelle, I still feel 25 (mentally if not physically)
Thanks, Michelle, and I’m glad you enjoyed Cop Out.
Happy Birthday KC!!!! May all your dreams and wishes come true. π
Lol, My Mom always says she is 39 and holding, even after all of us kids are 40+ . Age really is a state of mind!
Happy birthday KC. Have a fab trip to Boston. Early 40’s were still great fun – now heading for 50 in a year and a bit and finding the body is slowing down (though i still play 2 team sports, run, mountain bike and swim so I aint doing too bad!!! – its when I’m playing netball and I work out I could be grandma to some of the opposition is frightening!)
LOL – I remember my mom telling me she was 29, at least until I got old enough to realize she was 39 when I was born.
Thank you, Suze! I’m amazed you have all that energy, but more power to you!
Happy birthday!
Thank you!
